Dr. Flowers

Fall97 "Dr. Flowers delivers well organized lectures at a reasonable pace. He places his lecture notes in the reserve room and tests come directly from his notes. Perhaps one of the best instructors at this university."

Dr. Haning
Bio 125

"I think that everything about Dr. Haning is very fair--her tests, lectures, etc. Lectures are a little dull, but... She gave our plants to the highest test grades in out class! That was great..."
Fall97 "avoid if you want to keep a decent GPA"
Fall98 "My grade in the class was C.
Dr. Haning's lectures are basic and boring ... however, test questions will be in-depth and hard! In addition, a test may focus on a specific chapter, yet that info is not communicated to the students in advance. Be prepared to spend many, many hours studying! Also, effort is not taken into consideration - attendance doesn't matter one way or the other..."

Dr. Parker
BIO125
General Biology
"Quite possibly the worst teacher I've ever had for any class in my life! Tests are mostly on material never covered in class."
"Well, Dr. Parker knows the material well. She just has a hard time getting it across to her students. Lectures are the epitome of boring - HELLO NAPTIME!! Tests are unfair - you can go to all the lectures and read all the chapters and still not pass! Her notes on the overhead are hard to decipher and she gets easily confused throughout the course of a class period. Try to aviod if you can. I hear Dr. Feaver is good for BIO125."
Spring98 "Her tests are impossible, because there are too many errors that she made when making the test. She confuses herself when typing it up, because (in her words) she's "trying to be tricky". I don't think I am here to be tricked, how about you? She would have questions on her tests that didn't have a correct answer to choose from. In class she misspelled words frequently and often needed to be corrected by the class. She probably is a very smart person, but when it comes to teaching, she stinks! "

"I think that he needs to be fair because alot of people that I know in the class studies the material in lecture and the notes off netscape and the test doesn't cover fairly what we study. Also..during many of his lectures, he has been very rude in answering questions because he doesn't like to be asked questions and he gives vague responses!"
