CAREER DIRECTIONS
As a freshman, it is difficult to choose the right major. In addition, college life provides
so much choice that it seems that it could be overhelming.
So I would like to see a section composed of tips from alumni to help you in your journey.
This section will include feedback from alumni of NC State or other Universities, student
organization presidents or anyone who can help you.
Alumni will provide information on:
- Why they selected their major?
- Which electives would be very useful for their career?
- Why coop is a great idea?
- Tip on how to land a good job?
- What questions to ask in an interview
- What course they wish had taken?
- Is their major worth it?
- What salary range they have?
- Which major is hot in the real world now?
- What organization they should have participated in?
- Tips for getting the best out of the NCSU Experience
