"Very boring lectures...tests were based on nothing we did in class. Role playing was interesting but pointless. Worst teacher of my school career. Avoid at all costs."

Spring98 "My grade in the class was A.
Great teaching style, energetic and fun classes!!"

McClain
Political Science 202

Spring98 "My grade in the class was C. This guy is not worth wasting class time on or even napping in his class. His tests are not on class material or notes. He doesn't even lecture! He walks into class, sits on the professor's desk, and yaks the whole class period about stories and rarely adds actual material that is worth taking down. This man is in desparate need to be retired. He sucks!!!!!! McClain's tests consisted of multiple choice (easy) and essay. Essay is exactly where he gutted everybody in the class because he was so picky. He did not care about attendence and was extremely boring. McCain give a curve? Yeah right! He doesn't even know what one is, much less ever even heard of a curve!!"

Reid

Class : PS306, I took the class in Fall 1999. I give this teacher a 4 out of 4, my grade in the class was A.
"Dr. Reid was a difficult teacher with high expectations of her students. I loved her style of efficiency and I'm looking for more of her classes before I leave. Not to mention, this woman really knows her stuff! Take her if you came here to learn..."

"Very energetic! You can talk to him anytime about anything that relates to the class. You won't fall asleep in his class. If you like discussion and participation, take him!"

Spring98 "My grade in the class was A.
An incredible professor! His lectures are easy to understand yet go into incredible depth. He is unbiased in his teaching, a real plus for any Political Science professor. He also knows his facts: when he lectures on something, he knows about every fact and detail on the subject manner. His class was the high point of my day. I recommend both his PS201 and PS301."

Oliver Williams

"Williams often spends the class period discussing topic which do not relate to the class material (e.g. trips to Hong Cong etc). Also he does not provide students with a syllabus, at least this semester he did not (fall '96)."
