Spring 98 "A very exciting instructor!!! A lot of demonstrations that keep you on your toe!!! You will benefits a whole lot from these demo. Also he is a very understanding instructor. He does take your comments and there to help you. Must take!!! One tiny thing, he does take attendance."

"Class : PY208, Spring 1998. I give this teacher a 1 out of 4, my grade in the class was F.
I loved physics before I took his class...he is the absolute worst teacher (and this is not because I am slack- which i am but thats not the point)...he stutters when he talks and his voice quavers a lot- he hardly ever even finishes his sentences..At first i felt sorry for him and thought he was nervous but it never stopped and got to be really annoying..he tries very hard as a teacher but unfortunately for him and us he is not any good at all"

"He's a lot better than some teachers I hear about. He explains concepts very well, although he comes across as a nutcase sometimes. If you understand his notes and the practice tests you should do well."

"Dr. Hughes is one of the better instuctors I have had at state. His lectures are very clear and he has a lot of enthusiasum for the subject. He does move very fast with the material though and working through about 20 examples can be very boring."

"She has a pretty nice personality, but she tries too hard. She is just to damn excited about physics. However, she will always help you out if you need it and will pass around times she has free if you would like to come see her. If you complete the work, you get the grade. She is a pretty good teacher in the way she explains things. She has lots of enthusiam."

"spring 1999. I give this teacher a 4 out of 4, my grade in the class was A.
Dr. Krim is very informative, and works many examples in class, she is very open to questions, and a very good lecturer in my opinion. the only disadvantage of her class is that her office is on centennial campus, and therefore makes it very difficult to get in touch with her."

"Excellent physics teacher!!! I, the extreme non-physicist, understood what he was talking about. Very receptive to student questions and comments."

"Class : 205, I took the class in Summer1999. I give this teacher a 2 out of 4, my grade in the class was C.
my feelings of hatred are not as great as others i know. it seems like this was his first time teaching and he doesn't know how to. he's not a hard teacher the test are fair. the web assign is crazy, however we got 20 submissions. his problem was that he can't lecture. 15 minutes into class his voice would put me to sleep. if you are willing to read the book to keep up and know a little physics before hand then go ahead and take him. otherwise go for somebody with more experience. he's down to earth for the most part. sometimes he forgets that his students have passed basic algebra and will waste an the period doing one problem. that's what i think. attendance was not required but he gave extra credit problems in class randomly. it's 205, the department curves not him. Fall97 "Dr. Lucovsky really knows his stuff, but he is very dry. He shows very little excitement during his lectures. The problems he does seem little to do with the homework. The tests are sometimes out of the homework problems. If you like learning things on your own--or know physics like a master--take him--otherwise--choose someone else."

Spring99 "My grade in the class was C+.
This is guy is horrible. When he works a problem on the board, he usually ends up not finishing it because he gets to point he doesn't know how to finish it. Then, he says well, I get back to you on this problem, but he never does. He made us write up WWWAssign homeworks to turn in for a grade like you write a physics lab. He was awful. Often kind of snotty of a person."

"1999 . I give this teacher a 2 out of 4, my grade in the class was B+.
While he has a sense of humor, he's just not a good teacher. Works lots of examples, but really doesn't teach you how to approach any particular type of problem. Tests range in diffulty from moderate to down right hard. If you get a lot from just watching problems be worked, go ahead and take him, otherwise, steer clear."

"This teacher is not very good. He does not know what is going on and Adoesn't even know the material all that well. I think he is from MIT. It seems more like he is from Wake Tech. He really sucks. He is also very unwilling to help you during his office hrs and I won't even go into his teaching methods. Dont take this a...."

"Pretty easy A, even if you don't exactly understand the material all that well."
