"She is a pretty good teacher, but sometimes let's her feminist side bias her views. She is fair, and her essay tests allow you to write down just about anything you learned and still be ok. She has lots of class discussion."

Fall97 "Jackie is a great teacher. She is very enthusiastic about her work and never comes into class without a smile. If you want to learn about Sociology and have fun at the same time, Jackie is the best choice!"

Fall97-"This lady is very good. There is alot of class interaction, and not very many notes. Her tests are of a medium difficulty level, and you must know definitions. She likes what she's doing so that enthusiasm flows to the student. I formed many opinions in this class, and changed a few that I thought were in stone. I recommend her to anyone."

"her class is really interesting but her tests are very tricky. she has a lot of good non lecture classes, too."

Deann Judge

"Judge is hard. Her notes have nothing to do with what her tests are discussing. Her study sheets for the test might be you a 50."

Spring 98 "My grade in the class was A.
She is a very understanding teacher and her class is very easy. She tells you what will be on the test. The class consists of reading articles and discussing them in class. No homework, one short paper, 3 tests. The class is Social Deviance so you study stuff like weird sexual practices, gay people, drugs, and stuff. I found it interesting, even though it disturbed me."

"A very fair teacher who is willing to discuss topics with his students"

"He is biased, and believe that he is not fair in his grading procedures"

Randy Thomson

Spring 98 "My grade in the class was B.
Dr. Thomson was a very enthusiastic and personable professor. He was very fair in all aspects of his grading, and allowed plenty of opportunities to pull up a low grade. He scheduled occasional films that were good for a break, but not so many that the class became boring. The class also included several interesting in-class projects that usually were very helpful as well as entertaining. Dr. Thomson was always calm and completely unintimidating. I always felt comfortable enough to ask questions in class. He was also genuinely interested in the subject matter we discussed in class."
