Dr. Adler
Rel.312, Rel.314, Rel 402
Spring98 "My grade in the class was A-.
I have taken all three of his classes. The first one I took was Rel.312 to fill up my humanity requirements. After taking the course, I declaired minor in religious studies. He knows so much about the material. He is always prepared and he goes out of his way to help every student in anyp possible ways. If you are a person who enjoys learning from history teachers that speak plain english and not one of those "I-am-so-smart" languages. I'll take 10 more of his classes if he teaches any more on this campus. He's taking a year off in 98/99 school year. Take him when he gets back. You won't regret it at all!"

One of the most interesting and easy classes for an elective. You look at rugs and paintings everyday and even go on a trip to Waahington to look at paintings. If you take good notes you will do fine on the tests. Just make sure you attend class. "

Bryce Lane
HS100,201
Fall97 "Bryce is one of the most exhilirating teachers at State. I had him for a 3 hour class and actually wanted to stay longer. He's wild and fun. HS 100 is a great course to take for an easy free elective credit. You do have to study but you learn soooo much about plants and stuff. The class is awesome and Bryce is even more awesome. I would definitely recommend him to take."

Clayton Stalnaker
"Dr. Stalnaker is a good lecturer. However, you also have to read a really bad book. The two never coincide with one another. You must know both for his tests. For the tests, 50% is identification. Despite how well you identify stuff he'll find ways to count off. If the TA grades it he'll regrade and take more points off. The other 50% is essay. No matter how much you write, he'll take points off, minus an explanation why you missed the points. Also, he is cocky and arrogant. He has the world's most annoying smirk."
